How to access your home pc from work or vice-versa

Here are the simple instructions to connect to your home computer from work or vice-varsa.
What you need
1. Two Computers with internet access (One at home other at work).
2. Software than enables this connectivity possible. (Don't worry about work Firewall )
Procedure:
1. there are quiet a number of software that allow you to do this. e.g. VNC, logmein, showmypc etc. I prefer teamviewer. so lets go with teamviewer. This software is free for personal use and has quiet a number of features like
1. Video Chat
2. VOIP
3. Works behind firewall
4. File transfer
5. if you register you can save all the connected computers to your account
Steps
1. Visit http://goo.gl/lbL1q teamviewers website and download the software for your OS (Win/Mac/Linux). {TeamViewer full version - Windows}
2. Install the application (follow the wizard)
3. Your team viewer should look like below picture.
4. Do the same on the other computer where you want to connect/connect from.
5. you are all set. open team viewer and enter the ID and password of the computer you want to connect and you are all set.
Note: You can set a password to your pc while installing. use this method only if the computer belongs to you. this way you can connect to it remotely without anyone giving you the password.
