Here is a small tip that i use to get some extra juice out of my android phone.
between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM i disable the following. This is generally the time we goto sleep (if not then you may want to set these timing to your sleep time)
- AutoSync
- Wifi
- Data
This did improve my battery as my phone now does not allow apps to connect to net, wifi or data doesnt have to look for access point. at the same time i still can receive/make calls/texts.
Note: you’ll not receive any updates on Whatsapp,facebook,google talk/hangout or any similar apps.
You can automate this using apps like
- tasker
- automate it etc
